omaine de Murtoli is a peaceful haven located in the extreme South-of-Corsica between Sartène and Bonifacio. Only 45 minutes from Porto-Vecchio, 25' from Figari, and 1h45 from Ajaccio, this hidden gem is ideally set between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains that well embody the treasures of the Corsican landscapes. Everything in Murtoli has been thought to be a fully luxury immersion; get back to basics, enjoying the little things and the profuse nature cherished in Corsica. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries, enjoy the simple pleasures of life, undergoing a detox week, and you're a gastronomy lover, Murtoli is definitively made for you.
Murtoli has been created by Paul Canarelli, the heir of these extraordinary lands, after the death of his grandfather in 1993. Firmly attached to his birthright and his cultural heritage, Canarelli wished to pay tribute to his grandfather and his origin when creating a hideaway to highlight the beauty of his island. He naturally decided to renovate the existing shepherd houses and some landlord dwellings made with local granite stones dated from the XVII century. The family heritage and this sumptuous sanctuary are well kept since the children of Canarelli are already inclined to pick up the slack.

“Hôtel de la Ferme”, a new 5* hotel inside the Domain
Last June 2021, Murtoli opened the doors of its brand-new 5-star hotel, named “Hôtel de la Ferme,” crafted to meet its guests’ expectations. This hotel seems to be a small hamlet with an interior courtyard, looking like a village square in the heart of the domain. The hotel gathers five luxurious suites, three of 60square meters, the AQUEDDA Suite of 85sqm with its own private pool and a beautiful view over the countryside, and the MURTOLI Suite 135sqm with two bedrooms, including the master bedroom with a charming view of the farm’s courtyard and its centuries-old olive trees. In addition, there are four rooms, three of 50sqm and one of 40sqm.

All suites and rooms are designed in a traditional Corsican style, mixing old charm and authenticity with a touch of modernity. They are all equipped with a home automation system, secure high-speed WIFI access, air conditioning, a safe, a courtesy area (minibar, coffee machine & capsules, kettle & selection of teas or infusions), the telephone, and are also non-smoking. Guests also benefit from access to the 20-meter paved pool heated early and late season, the bar opens all day, and terraces with a great golf view.

Moreover, you will find in the bigger rooms fireplaces and woodburning stoves in the smaller ones that add a subtle cozy touch for your fall/winter evenings at the “Hôtel de la Ferme.” Indeed, the hotel is open from April to January.

To offer guests an utterly unconventional experience, the restaurant “La Table de la Ferme,” is dedicated to rustic-chic cuisine, with 1-Michelin star where chef Mathieu Pacaud officiates in summer residence from June to September. To share a memorable time with friends and family, guests can enjoy a culinary encounter and taste the « I piattini, » the Corsican finger food. Warm vigils and exquisite cuisine are waiting for you, accompanied by wines selected by the sommelier in an exceptional cellar offering red, white, and rosé Corsican wines. Visitors can also taste the tremendous continental appellations and the best champagnes. Besides, the restaurant is open all year long.

This eatery extends the two others in the domain, “La Table de la Plage,” which offers a Mediterranean menu based on fish and seafood, and “La Table de la Grotte,” which proposes local and traditional feasts.

Furthermore, Murtoli provides the guests with a wide range of activities such as horse riding, golf, hiking in the maquis, Corsican cooking classes, resting by the pool or at the beach, or even spending a relaxing moment at the Spa signed Nucca. Nucca is a local cosmetic brand, high-quality and 100% plant-based, offering great virtues for the body and soul. During summer, the Spa is placed on the beach, open-air surrounded by local plants like hedges of myrtle, wild roses, and bamboo. Off-season, a cozy cocoon room will welcome guests for 100% natural treatments.
