ant to go to Courchevel for an out-of-time experience? Here is where to go and what to pack. Courchevel is ideally located at the core of the famous French Alps, Les Trois-Vallées, in Savoie, between Meribel and Val-Thorens, gathering seven ski stations. Les Trois-Vallées's domain attracts enthusiasts from all over the world, eager to play on this plural and unlimited playground of 600km ski slopes. Traveling to Les Trois-Vallées also has a snow-making guarantee throughout the winter season. But let's focus on what Courchevel has to offer that will be a game-changer.

Last December, Ultima Collection opened their fourth Alpine creation Ultima Courchevel Belvédère. After Gstaad, Megeve, and Crans Montana, Ultima Collection bet on one of the most glamourous and highly coveted ski stations of the French Alps. Ultima Collection offers the unique experience of an ultra-luxury 5-star hotel within the privacy of a residence. To do so, the actual GM of Ultima Courchevel Belvédère, Antoine LHomme, is giving great attention to every detail. The property is well located between Courchevel Belvédère 1650 and la Rosière Forest, at the foot of the ski slopes. The property has 13 chalets to offer spread over 4 and 5 bedrooms in 2 resorts, the North resort and the South one. The North resort is composed of five chalets; you’ll be able to pick between the Grand Residences, the Signature, and the Prestige one. Cross the street and take the elevator to reach the South resort, made of 8 luxurious chalets, all connected.

Each residence is designed with a vast living space, fully equipped kitchen, lift, and access to an in-house ski store, while every bedroom boasts a private bathroom, dressing room, and balcony or direct outdoor access. The countless bay windows allow swathes of natural interior light and breathtaking views across the picturesque snow-blanketed valley. Every day is a stunning wild beauty show, from the pinkish sunrise to the golden sunset. Then, the cozy and modern chalet mood made up of wood, velvet fabrics, and fur blankets will make you instantly feel at home. You’ll adore the wood-burning fireplace after a hard day skiing while enjoying an enormous high tea with sweet mignardises prepared by the Chef or even reading a book from the display library. Fashion and art coffee table books from the famous editing houses Assouline and Taschen are available in residences. By the way, you will see in the corridors of the property a lot of pop art artworks from various artists such as James Chiew and Oscar Munar.

But who says mountain and ski, says good food! Chef Gioele, originally from Italy, will cook the best and most unexpected meals for you. Beluga caviar, lobster, truffle spaghetti, and even a truffled fondue! All accompanied by Champagne. So Chic! The Chef will succeed with any request you’ll have, but ask to be surprised and let him be creative. Same for breakfast, if you feel the need for a lighter one, the Chef can quickly adapt to all diets. I’ve opted for a celery juice with a red fruits porridge, oil-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free, with a Rooibos tea. It was mouthwatering. You’ll relish the utmost culinary experience.
Moreover, to make all this charming venture incredible and assist the Chef, Justine, our butler, has been outstanding. Besides, if the weather is good enough, you can even have breakfast on the terrasse of the residence and lunch at Ultima Courchevel’s restaurant to catch the sun rays.

What to pack?
Well, after all this food coma, exercise is needed. Rendez-vous to the in-house ski boutique Bernard Orcel located in the North Resort and shop the most stylish and trendy skiwear. They have a lovely selection of brands from Aztech Mountain to Bogner. So Courchevel!
Do not forget your swimsuit for a swim at Ultima Courchevel Spa after skiing. Ultima Courchevel has a partnership with the french swimwear brand Baie Brune for a chic and comfortable swim.

Let’s hit the slopes!
Make a stop at the ski room of the property, where the ski butlers are waiting for you to help you equip yourself and make this unappreciated step a real moment of simplicity. There you go, you’re ready to explore the beautiful Courchevel ski resort. Do not hesitate to make an inquiry to Arty, the head of Conciergerie at Ultima Courchevel, to book you a private instructor to make you discover the best spots of the resort or improve your ski technique. No shame and no age to ask for an instructor! I’ve got the pleasure to meet François Artinian, a fabulous ski instructor from the EFS, in his spare time. What a great personality!
I actually never took an instructor while going to ski, but I’ve to admit that it was pleasant to have someone to make you work on your technique and take you to the slopes. Skiing in a team is always better! It has been a memorable day. Merci François!

Ultima Courchevel Spa by Swiss Perfection
After all these intense efforts, it’s time for relaxation! Ultima Courchevel Spa has two Spa areas within the resort. In the South one, you’ll be captivated by an outdoor heated pool with a breathtaking view of the snowy valley. The luxurious materials used in the spa areas are funny to observe. The floor is covered with heated teak that reminds the yacht floors, whereas you’ll guess eclectic shapes inside the white and black marble. Each wellness area features treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art hammam, sauna, fitness room, and beauty salon.
The North resort is distinguished by an indoor pool and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Lovely to enjoy with a glass of Champagne!
To recover after a ski session, free your mind and body by enjoying a moment for yourself with leading wellness experts that will offer you multiple treatments and massages, available upon request. Try an after-ski massage to avoid body aches and enjoy an hour of pure let go.
